This easy holiday mocktail starts with a cinnamon simple syrup. Add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 2 cinnamon sticks to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes, then remove the cinnamon sticks and transfer to the syrup to a glass jar. It will keep in the fridge for up to 1 month. Add 1 tbsp simple syrup to a glass filled with ice. Add a squeeze of fresh orange juice and top off with sparkling cider.
