The thing about improv, well the art of embracing improvisation, is that the benefits reach areas inside of your inner world that you didn't know existed. Audition for SPIN's first Coached Ensemble Program, Sunday March 26 at The MAR! What is a coached ensemble program? Similar to the program Liz co-founded and continues to produce with Miguel Rodriguez in Chicago, folks who audition will be grouped together and paired with a coach based on their interests and availability. The new indie teams formed will be provided with four weeks of amazing coaching and instruction, and then will receive a four week run of shows on Friday nights in May! Auditions will be held on March 26. Teams announced by the following Tuesday. Rehearsals can begin as soon as the team is able. SPIN will pay for four coaching sessions, and anything outside of that will be worked out between the coach and the team. Teams can choose to continue performing together, or disband after their run! Auditions for the next round of Coached Ensembles will be in the Spring after we collect your feedback and adjust accordingly in order to serve you and the community to the best of our ability.
