One of the best things Cathy Gasper mentioned in our podcast episode a few weeks ago, is that every interaction she has with money, she makes an intentional mental donation. For example Cathy explained how when she shops at Whole Foods, and her bill comes to $77.10, she envisions her money as a donation to each of the small businesses that helped make her purchase possible. All of the farmers who grew her veggies, and raised her meats. All of the workers who stocked the shelves and rang her up. She envisions these donations going to the utility workers that run the power company that keeps the lights on for Whole Foods.
