Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, a tribute to the rich history, heritage, and dignity of Black Americans. The day also acknowledges some of the most difficult truths in our nation's story. Let us work together as a nation, taking positive steps towards achieving true equality and liberty for all.
On behalf of all of us at Trinity Health Senior Communities, Happy Father's Day to our Dads, Grandfathers, Godfathers, and all of the special men who have shaped our lives. May our residents, colleagues, and all who are celebrating have a joyful day!
May we each take time this weekend to reflect upon the meaning of the Memorial Day holiday and to give thanks to the brave women and men who served in United States Armed Forces and made the ultimate sacrifice in order to protect our freedom.
Today we kicked off 2024 National Skilled Care Week also known as National Nursing Home Week, a time to celebrate and appreciate the amazing residents and colleagues that make up our community each day! Take a stroll down memory lane, look at the smiles and joy our residents bring to our community!
We at THSC are wishing a joyous and peaceful Passover to all our residents, families, colleagues, and friends celebrating the holiday.
May all our residents, families, colleagues, and friends who observe Ash Wednesday be blessed with an insightful, prayerful, peaceful Lenten journey.
On Sunday, February 11, we will commemorate World Day of the Sick. May we be guided by these words of Pope Francis: "Brothers and sisters, the first form of care needed in any illness is compassionate and loving closeness. To care for the sick thus means above all to care for their relationships, all of them: with God, with others -- family members, friends, healthcare workers -- with creation, and with themselves. Can this be done? Yes, it can be done and all of us are called to ensure that it happens. Let us look to the icon of the Good Samaritan (cf. Lk 10:25-37), to his ability to slow down and draw near to another person, to the tender love with which he cares for the wounds of a suffering brother."
Trinity Health Senior Communities gives thanks for our veterans, who have selflessly bestowed the gift of freedom upon us all.
