August and I, after riding RPM 100 for the first time. I really wish I was still teaching. It was absolutely amazing.

I am still certified just no where near me that offers Les Mills( except the Y and my availability didn't match their need)

Maybe my fellow yoga teachers can help...

I am not sure what this pose is called in Sanskrit or in yoga at all. Maybe it's just a variation of mountain pose?

I was practicing from a Les Mills body balance class yesterday. Les Mills calls this Fallen Angel( in yoga that pose looks very different)

Anyway, the camera caught this right at the height of this pose for me. I lost my balance just after this .

Keep in mind that the video is speed up, and there are many options to these poses not shown in this video but always shown in class. This class is truly for everyone. Beginners, yogis, weight lifters, and cardio goers a like. We all need some time to stretch our muscles and show our bodies a little love. Sukhasana or easy seated pose.

Sitting up nice and tall, with the head over the heart and the heart over the pelvis. Rooting through your sit bones (your b***y) and with eyes closed or a soft gaze relax your shoulders down your back. Placing your hands in your lap, by your side, or resting on your legs. Palms up or down.

Sukhasana can be a very calming and relaxing pose, if done correctly. It can improve postural awareness and creates a strong foundation for your yoga and meditation practices.

Holding this pose or asana strengthens core muscles (including your abdominals and the muscles supporting your spine), and stretches your groin and inner thighs (adductors).
