What’s A Smoothie Bowl?

The one thing I never really understood was the Smoothie Bowl. I just didn’t get it. Was it fruit soup? Or a liquid fruit salad? Either way I wasn’t into it. But the other day, I decided to try it and see what the fuss was all about.

I mean, there was a whole trend behind these bowls with shops and cafe’s popping up all over the place, even naming their establishment after the famous Acai Bowls.

What You May Not Know

Today, many of the smoothie shops and cafes are using subpar ingredients, frozen fruit and sweeteners that make for better profits but can cause potential harm to us in the form of inflammation and additional empty calories. It’s not necessary, especially for a food item that’s so simple to make. So let’s dive in and see if we can get into this smoothie bowl thing.

I started with a smoothie I already wanted and decided to take it to the next level with a variety of berries and fresh coconut meat

The Problem With Sweet Fruit
Sweet fruits are fantastic for nourishment and detoxification, however, they are high in fruit sugar and need to be regulated. This can be especially concerning for those who need to keep sugar levels in check. So though a bowl of fruit may seem healthy, it’s important to pay attention to the combination of fruits as well as any additional sweeteners or ingredients that may have been added when you buy smoothies and fruit beverages on the go.

The Reason to Make Your Own
This is pretty obvious, but it’s best to have as much control as possible for what goes in your body. Washing your own produce, using your own equipment and blending your own smoothies will ensure your know the contents, process and can trust the finish product to give you everything you need and none of what you don’t.

The Challenge
Did you know that 73% of the U.S food supply is ultra-processed? And 52% of those foods are cheaper than less processed alternatives? The game is rigged against us in a war on healthy options.

Aren’t you tired of trying to “get healthy” when the FDA is allowing detrimental ingredients and preservatives in even the plant based and gluten free options?

Create worry free meals without overthinking it. Enjoy upgraded snacks and kill cravings to excessive sugar and starch.

Do you know about the power of essential oils? Especially Frankincense and Myrrh. These two Biblical herbs are powerful.

Did you know that frankincense and myrrh have similar chemical compositions and share many of the same therapeutic properties.

They both contain compounds that have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antimicrobial effects, making them a potent pair in fighting pain.

Frankincense essential oil is high in monoterpenes, which have anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic effects, making it useful for reducing inflammation and promoting relaxation. Myrrh essential oil, on the other hand, is high in sesquiterpenes, which have a calming effect on the nervous system that helps to ease and reduce pain.

Myrrh’s powerful anti-inflammatory and analgesic compounds have a gentle anti-inflammatory effect, which help to sooth and calm swelling while blocking pain signals from reaching the brain. This makes it a great alternative to over-the-counter pain medication, which often comes with unwanted side effects.

In addition to its pain-relieving properties, myrrh essential oil can also act as a muscle relaxant, helping to relieve tension and reduce pain associated with muscle spasms. It can also stimulate blood flow, which can promote healing and regeneration of tissues.

One of the things I love most about myrrh essential oil is its calming effect on the mind and body. It can help reduce stress and anxiety. When your body is more relaxed and at ease, it can better cope with pain and inflammation. This makes it a great choice for those looking for a natural way to manage pain and promote overall well-being.

When used together, frankincense and myrrh essential oil complement each other and enhance their therapeutic benefits. Their combined anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects reduce pain and inflammation more effectively than using either oil alone.

If you are suffering from pain I highly recommend that you try using these two power oils together. These are the type of things we discuss on your podcast, Well Honestly. Find us everywhere you listen to podcasts and on YouTube.

This makes no sense!!! While I was in the ATL this weekend, 3 areas including the downtown area where all the big hotels are did not have water....I repeat, there was no water at all. Tragic and it had been over 4 days.....imagine that...hotel guests were very inconvenienced, fortunately, I was staying with my brother in Snellville. If you are not drinking water directly from the spring you could be in trouble.

Getting a cancer diagnosis is a scary thing, most of the time, the doctors do not give you time to think, research, or explore options. It is a whirlwind, you are scared so you follow whatever they tell you as long as you feel you are going to live.

I have lost two of my favorite people recently to cancer, it gave me pause, so I began to study what happens when people get a diagnosis, and what I discovered was troubling. If you or your loved one has cancer, here are questions you should ask your oncologist. BTW we all have cancer cells in our body, the question is what can you do to keep from activating them?
I copied this from Chris Beats Cancer, if you want more information go to his page. It may save someone's life.

The Questions
What is my diagnosis?
Is this a fast-growing or slow-growing cancer?
How long has it been growing in my body? What do you think caused my cancer?
Do you think my diet, pollution or stress had anything to do with it?
Was it genetic?
Treatment Questions
What treatment do you recommend?
What are the drugs you are going to treat me with?
Are there any other drugs that I might have to take?
Can I get a list of all the drugs that will be involved in my treatment?
What are the short-term side effects of these drugs?

What are the long-term side effects of these drugs?
Do any of these drugs have life-threatening side effects?
How old are the drugs you recommend?
How long have they been around? Is this treatment curative or palliative? If curative:
If the treatment you recommend doesn't cure my cancer, then what?
What is the recurrence rate after this treatment?
Where does that statistic come from?
If palliative: What's the point of chemo or radiation if it's not going to cure me?
How would drugs that make me sick give me a better quality of life?
How much time do you think I have to live if I do this treatment? How much time do you think I have to live if I do nothing?

What is the 5 year disease-free survival rate for my specific diagnosis with this treatment protocol? What is the 5 year disease-free survival rate for my specific cancer if I do nothing? How much does chemotherapy contribute to 5 year survival for my cancer?
What about 10 year survival?
Are there any studies comparing this treatment protocol to patients who did nothing? What if the treatment doesn't work? Can I get refund?
May I have copies of the Material Safety Data Sheets on all the drugs I'll be taking?
I would like to take them home with me today to review them. Have you ever taken any of these chemotherapy drugs to understand what they are like?
Would you do this treatment if you had the same diagnosis as me?
Or would you just try to make the most of the time you have left? What would you do if you were me? Are you married? Do you have children?
If your husband/wife had this cancer would you give them this treatment?
What if it was your child?
Would you give them this treatment? Is it true that chemotherapy drugs can make cancer more aggressive? Does chemotherapy kill cancer stem cells?
I read that many chemotherapy drugs are carcinogenic? Can this treatment cause more cancers in the body?
Do cancer cells eventually become resistant to chemotherapy? What do we do when that happens?
What other treatment options are available besides what we've discussed?
DIET QUESTIONS What do you recommend I eat while doing chemotherapy?
Is it ok if I have ice cream and pizza? What's the best anti-cancer diet?
Are there any foods that I should avoid?
I was thinking about adopting a plant-based diet, eating lots of raw fruits and vegetables, and juicing, is that ok?
ASK ABOUT TESTING I would like to get the Oncostat Plus chemosensitvity test to see which drugs my cancer will respond to before starting anything.
Can you order that for me?
Will you be ordering genetic testing to make sure the drugs won't be severely toxic to me? For example, patients with a DPD enzyme deficiency makes 5FU severely toxic and deadly http://www.know-the-risk-of-5fu-chemotherapy.com Spectracell Blood Test shows nutrient deficiencies in the body GET REFERENCES
How many patients do you treat per year?
How many patients have you permanently cured of my disease? I'm really nervous about this and would like to speak to 5 of your patients with the same cancer as me that are cancer-free after 5 years. Is that possible?
Do you have any patients with my kind of cancer that are in remission after 10 years?
Can I speak to some of them?
If the doctor balks at this Would you be willing to call and ask them personally if they would talk to me?
TALK ABOUT MONEY What is the total cost of the treatment you are recommending?
How much of that is your profit? I'm just curious to know how much money you are making off me as a patient. I read somewhere that private practice oncologists buy chemotherapy drugs at wholesale and bill the patients or the insurance company at a marked-up price. Is that true? Is it true that you make a profit on the chemotherapy drugs you prescribe? And that some have higher profit margins than others?
FINAL QUESTIONS
If I decide to undergo treatment, will I be able to call you if I have questions after hours?
I would like to take some time to change my life, would that be possible?
How much time do I have to do this?
How much time do I have to think about all this and make my decision?
Is it possible for the body to heal itself of cancer?
If I decide not to do treatment, in order to enjoy the time I have left, will you support me with periodic blood tests and scans? Can I get a copy of my medical records before I leave today?

UK Fanta gets its color from carrots, pumpkins, and orange fruit, while the US version gets it from dyes (red 40 and yellow 6).
Also, about 3 times as much sugar in the US version versus the UK version, and the US Fanta has high fructose corn syrup while the UK version has sugar.
Also, there's no orange juice in American Fanta. Gotta love amerikkka🙄 $
