Recently I spent a week in Sydney playing in the showband for Pulse Alive. It was the most incredible experience and I had the best time performing with so many talented people. Robbi and I were lucky enough to be able to do a song together so here it is! Heavens to Betsy by Jackson Dean.

I was asked to perform at the NSW Department of Education’s Back to School event in Sydney! It was an amazing experience! I played Tommy Emmanuel’s arrangement of Day Tripper and Lady Madonna. 🥳

Robbi and I have had the most amazing time in Tamworth performing every day and having the best time.
It is with huge excitement that I can announce that we have been selected in the top 10 buskers which means we play on the big Toyota stage tomorrow night. What an honour!!!

Heading up to the Tamworth Country Music Festival tomorrow for a whole heap of gigs with my friend Robbi who is a fantastic singer! We will be performing every day as a duo. Can’t wait!

Schools spectacular this coming Saturday night at 7pm. Very excited to see how it all turned out!
School spectacular 2023 was on last weekend and I had the most amazing time.
It was an absolute privilege to play Tommy Emmanuel’s arrangement of Somewhere over the Rainbow in such a huge stadium! I also played Stayin Alive in a rock band which was so much fun and the last song was super cool and called Fabulous!
There are no words to express how grateful I am for this experience. Every single part of this show is incredible from the coaching and support to the life long friends I have made.

Only one more week of rehearsals before Schools Spectacular 24/25th Nov! It’s going to be a great show! 🥳🥳🥳

I am so excited to announce that I have been selected again as featured instrumentalist for this years Schools Spectacular! I will be playing a Tommy Emmanuel arrangement of a beautiful, classic song and also playing in a rock band! It is such a great honour being able to play in Qudos Bank Arena with so many amazing artists and the best supporting team.
School’s Spectacular will be over 4 shows on the 24th and 25th November and then on channel 7 later in December.
I had fun this morning on Sunrise with Sam Mac!

Tommy Emmanuel’s 2024 Australia Guitar Retreat is March 20-24th at the Panorama Retreat & Resort in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges outside of Melbourne. Guest instructors are Michael Fix, Richard Smith, and Simon Hosford. The camp is four days & nights of teaching, mentoring, jamming, and intimate concerts. It’s my birthday today and I was lucky enough to see Tommy Emmanuel live a couple of days ago! It’s been 4 years and he is better than ever! Such an amazing performer with incredible stage presence.
I was very inspired by Tommy’s playing so decided to come home and learn a very beautiful song he played in the show. It’s called Sail On and he wrote it the night his brother Phil died 😔.
I absolutely love this tune.

I recently arrived home from this week long tour where we took Pulse Alive to remote schools in far west NSW. I absolutely loved every single part of this tour and the kids were so enthusiastic and happy. I wish it wasn’t over!
I played as part of the band and also played Cannonball Rag 😁.
For those not from Australia, Broken Hill is 1200kms west of Sydney and about a 13hr drive. Amazing place where it is very flat with very red dirt.

I have just had the best week in Sydney playing in the showband for Pulse Alive!
It was the most amazing experience getting to play alongside such talented musicians and I loved every moment of it. It was so exciting backing such incredible singers and I even got to play a couple of solos.
