“Where were you when I was in school?” I have heard this comment several times within the past two months. It made me realize that we hear others offering a service that would have been beneficial when we were in school or while educating our children. I found this interesting.

Did you know 20% of what our eyes take in actually goes to the part of our brain that deals with vision? I learned many things about the relationship between neuroscience and my daughter’s vision therapy. This office and staff are extremely knowledgeable and the way things are laid out is beyond exciting. I am looking forward to sharing updates with you after she begins in about four weeks!

Just as these baby manta rays are learning together and growing to able to survive in the big ocean of life, I am giving the same opportunity for my daughter. When I THOUGHT I knew how my daughter’s education would go and then life presents the opportunity to homeschool, by golly I ran like the wind with it! See, I was a public school teacher and knew my daughter would go to public school also. Life had other plans for us, and I am beyond grateful for the journey into homeschooling and being an entrepreneur. None of this would have happened if I listened to the people around me and followed in line with others. I am not a rule-breaker per say, but I will fight tooth and nail for what I believe and what is best for my daughter to reach her highest potential. Follow along with my homeschool and entrepreneurial journey, and how I found my passion and purpose.
