Yesterday was a bittersweet day as I said goodbye to ABC 36!
I am incredibly blessed to have been able to start my career in my hometown market. Through triumphs and tears, the people of central Kentucky have welcomed me into their homes and lives and allowed me to share their stories, and for that I will be forever grateful.
I have grown so much as a journalist in my time here thanks to wonderful advice and encouragement from our awesome anchors and leadership. I cannot thank y'all enough for the guidance you've given me over the last 20 months.
As for what's next? I've got some RNR scheduled but stay tuned for where I'm heading next! I'll never forget my old Kentucky home ❤️

A heartbreaking classroom shooting in Virginia last week sent a first-grade teacher to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say the teacher is in stable condition as of Monday and the six-year-old student who shot her is being held. I talked to teachers in Fayette County about the anxieties surrounding school gun violence, especially after an intentional shooting by the teacher's own student.
Kentucky River Regional Animal Shelter is facing the impossible decision of euthanizing healthy animals unless 75-100 dogs are adopted out in the next week.
