Frankincense: Boswellia Carterii (Traditional Frank)
Frankincense: An oil of the Bible. Come along on a ride with me and learn about Frankincense. The bark on the Frankincense treei is shaved off and the resin oozes out. It take 2-3 months to complete the process. This has been done for thousands of years the same way to maintain the trees and allow them to keep growing and providing the oil from the resin. Over production would kill the trees. Some of the old ways are still the best. Don't forget to comment or like to be entered in this week's drawing. We love to find ways to encourage people to try out these amazing oils and fall in love.
Premium Starter kit #5
Lavender fields in full bloom have to be one of the best fragrances in the world. Lavender is one of the most used and loved essential oils. The plant origin is Utah, Idaho and France. No carrier oil needed for this one, unless you have highly sensitive skin. It is a light fragrance that begs you to breathe in deeply. It not only calms your emotions, it is also a wonderful support for stressed muscles.
Lavender is part of the trio that many find as a support for seasonal irritations. Combining lemon, lavender and peppermint does the trick for many, and all three are in your starter kit.
I love to rub it over my scalp before I go to bed. This is when I mix it with olive oil to spread it farther. It feels like my scalp is just sucking it up. (Your hair will thank you, too.) It is really calming and soothing. Add it to epsom salts for a bath. The entire bathroom will smell sooo good and you will relax.
Scrapes get cleaned up and I add a drop to rub on it. No stinging here. Great support for kids.
Young Living’s Lavender aroma rings are awesome for wearing under a mask. It is latex free, medical grade, soft silicone. It helps me tolerate that mask a little better.
Try diffusing lavender at night or adding Cedarwood (another calming oil) or any of your favorites. Diffuser recipe: 2 drops Lavender, 3 drops Peace & Calming, 4 drops Cedarwood
