"Stravaig", a poetic film I made for The Glasgow School of Art and Ulster University about my relationship with the Uist landscape, featuring music by Naked Flame and Mairi MacMillan, is a semi-finalist in the Experimental Short category of this festival.

We created a series of promotional vids for Uist Unearthed to promote their VR/AR archaeology app and are delighted that it is proving a great success.

Uist Unearthed helps to transform archaeology tourism across the Outer Hebrides A new VisitScotland survey shows that visitors to archaeological sites across the Outer Hebrides have more than doubled since 2017. Sharmanka contains the Russian wood sculptor Eduard Bersudsky's extraordinary kinetic sculptures - some of the most powerful political art work I have ever seen. Sergey Jakovsky has used all his talents as a lighting designer to light the exhibits. Well worth a visit for anyone near Glasgow.

Many thanks to The Big Tree Society for organising the planting of the Tim's Big Wood trees at Wooplaw Community Woodlands on Friday which was one of the Crowdfunder rewards for the film. With expert help from Chris Wood-gee and Donald McPhillimy we planted rowan, oak, field maple and alder in Gullet Wood, which Eoin Cox and Tim Stead first planted back in 1989. Many of the new trees are underplanting ash affected by ash dieback so will help ensure the future of the wood. If anyone would like to get involved, Wooplaw are always in need of volunteers.
