AFD will be hiring multiple new members in the coming months with varying levels of experience. Acting Lt. Carter is actively looking for ways to introduce new FF's to using our Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) as well as getting comfortable wearing our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

STAY AWAY FROM DOWNED POWER LINES It is imperative to stay away from them when seen. This video here shows both local PD and FD in Acton keeping distance while wires arc/ set fire on the ground. These emergency incidents require local utility companies to be resolved.
