When life gets busy, it’s common to get caught up in the day to day chaos. Keeping up with life during a global pandemic can almost start to feel normal. Wearing a mask can even begin to feel like just another accessory and social distancing as just a typical human interaction. While our Ventilator, AIRA, continues to await EUA we’ve had a bit more time to reflect on life now vs. life in March. The beauty of TVP’s conception still reigns true, and we will always be extremely grateful for the sacrifices of our volunteers during these times of need - when the world feels completely unpredictable. We’ve seen generosity beyond the bounds of our most hopeful expectations which has inspired - and driven us - to carry on. The drive to move forward, not unlike our ventilator, is made of many unconventional parts. It’s a faith in humanity - a faith that doing good brings out the good in others. It’s strength - a strength in ourselves that we are only now realizing existed. It’s ingenuity - divergent ideas that challenge the norm so much they suddenly seem able to redefine it. Thank you to all of the volunteers and donors who have made contributions of time, money, resources, and more to The Ventilator Project. You mean everything to us.
A cornerstone of the pride and purpose we feel at The Ventilator Project is the belief we have of our work making an impact for those around us directly working with COVID19 patients and in hospitals, clinics and more. Perfectly articulated by Noah Pacik-Nelson, one of TVP’s firmware engineers, what we do as an organization might very well impact those working on the front lines. #hopetakesaction
Why choose to make ventilators over other life-saving equipment in response to Covid-19? Listen to founder & CEO of The Ventilator Project, Tyler Mantel, discuss TVP's decision to take this route! #HopeTakesAction
