In the quiet pre-dawn hours yesterday I wound my way along a dark Tennessee highway reflecting on how surreal it feels to write a book. A pink glow kissed the sky and I saw I was surrounded by #beautiful mountains stretching out in every direction.
Later in the day, I met with the lovely Amy Dong and we talked through the big ideas behind my book. With Amy's coaching, I'll write my Author's Note to say why I'm writing this story and why readers will relate to it.
My #bookjourney is taking me down unfamiliar roads and I'm grateful I'm surrounded by beautiful people, stretching out in every direction. I feel like I got this because you've got me. Thank you for helping me find the #courage I need to #dare to become a #writer.
