At this stage of development I'm dedicating myself to play a game without using developer cheats, this way I'll be able to balance the difficulty better. Hopefully I can reach early access with 70% of the game by the end of the year!

Toziuha Night gamepad support
It took me about four full days to revamp the button mapping system! As for the keyboard it hasn't undergone many changes, but this time by default it will have a "WASD" configuration and support for the three main mouse buttons and scroll.
As for the gamepad, this time when starting the game for the 1st time a gamepad calibration will be requested, now it will have full compatibility with any controller, I even tested it with a generic PS3 one. This way even the button icons are updated automatically without the need to set the icons manually. And in options you can change the icon scheme: xbox, playstation, nintendo switch and steam deck.
Automatically and depending on the platform (consoles, steam deck, pc) these configurations are made.
On the other hand the game has already implemented an achievement system (a local one available on any platform and another one that works with the steam api).
The only thing that does not work well are the analog triggers (L2,R2) on android.
Boss Scy
Finishing with the last boss of the month! Since the beginning of April I've been working on making a new boss from scratch every week, I still have about 5 more alchemist bosses to make, I'll leave those for later.
The rest of the month I'll be working only half a day fixing bugs because I'm very tired xD

Another boss completed. It was hard to do because it's a boss that moves a lot and has several attack animations. But the result has been satisfactory :D (spoilers of the fight in my kofi)
The Adeptis bosses in Toziuha Night OotA will have a desperation move when defeating them Also each boss will have a different fight song! (there are for now 200MB of music files in the game) Desperation moves as well as other features that could make the game very difficult can be disabled, although it will prevent you from completing the game 100%. Whip
Testing to change the attack and double jump animations.
Increasing the speed of the whip and adding a fourth hit (mashing attack).
While the blood whip attack (which increases ATK) would be performed with up+hold attack, releasing the button executes the attack.
A glimpse of the game map to give you an idea of all the work done so far. Each square is a room... and there are approximately 320 of them. The truth is this is so exhausting, the black squares are rooms whose design is not completely finished/tested. I hope to finish this phase of the development this month...
finally the chain-swing is fully functional, I have fixed several bugs and now it can be used while moving, something that allows more interesting level designs.
The enemies in Toziuha Night will be quite aggressive and numerous. Possibly halfway through the year, I will have an early access exclusive for community members on Discord to see if the difficulty is not too high.
