ASHP and MSHP is hosting a roundtable style event on April 24th from 6-7:30pm where students can meet with various residency programs. This is an excellent opportunity to network and learn more about programs that may be of interest to you. There will be five 15-minute blocks that students will be able to sign up for. Some programs may present a small slide set to present their program followed by questions. This event will be held over Zoom exclusively.

If you think you'd be a great fit or are interested in getting involved in MPSA, apply to be one of the patient care coordinators next year! The American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP) is hosting its annual meeting April 7-10, 2024. This conference takes place in Orlando, FL at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.

To encourage attendance, the Psychiatric and Neurologic Collaborative is sponsoring the conference fee for 1 student in Duluth and 1 student in the Twin Cities.

We will be hosting a Conference Raffle to select the winners. By participating in this raffle you must be committed to attending the conference AND be a nationally registered AAPP member.

LDCR Ladner will also talk about the United States Public Health Service, and what opportunities federal work in Public Health can provide.

MPSA members who are point-of-care-testing trained are invited to attend the Grand Rapids YMCA Health Fair on 11/27/23 to conduct cholesterol, blood-glucose, blood-pressure, and bone density screening on interested patients. This event will take place from 9 am to 12:30 pm and carpooling to Grand Rapids will be available.

Operation Diabetes has invited Dr. Sugisaka to speak over the lunch hour about newer Eli Lilly diabetes products, the pathophysiology of diabetes, and industry pharmacy/sales. Eli Lilly will be providing demo Mounjaro pens for students to use.
