🐴 🌷 We have made it! British summer time begins tomorrow… Although, it’s still wet and rain forecast AGAIN!

Just another way horses try to injure themselves & showing a perfect example as to why your horse needs regular dentals…. A stick had managed to lodge its self across the hard palate and wedge against the upper molars! Funnily enough, this horse was showing NO SIGNS and was still managing to eat. This was found on a routine dental exam. It was removed easily and the stick luckily didn’t do too much damage to the soft tissue, just some ulcerations. I imagine if it was sat there for longer it could have been a different story. Pretty cool find, not for the horse though.

Routine Dental Examination
