Man...we just go go go. Constantly we have something going on. We have not, until tonight, taken time to enjoy our little piece of paradise...so here we sit...together with our 2 kiddos still at home. Yeah, I missed my workout for this, but ahhhh the birds chirping, the fire crackling & the trees gently waving...the sun setting casting beautiful shadows & gleams of light all around us...it's a little bit of heaven here amidst the chaos. Take time for yourself. We all need a recharge. 🥰
It's late, I know, but I realized I haven't posted part 3 lol! That said, Part 4 could be a while 🤣 I'm still playing with this area & waiting on my glass doors for my shower...who knows...wallpaper may be involved & maybe no table at all. Who knows?! 🤣🤣🤣 The point is, have fun with it! Do what makes YOU happy. It's YOUR house! Happy decorating! 🥰

#ThrowbackThursday lol! I'm looking through all of my pics & seeing my growth as a designer but also some fun projects along the way. That light fixture was a fun project with my dad 🥰 Hanging window treatments that low does nothing for the look of the room, hang them high & use long window treatments to elongate the room/draw the eye up Oh how I loooooved that farm table. It sure was beautiful! 🥹 I'm so glad that these homes are safe havens to the families that live in them now because they were definitely not when i lived in them. 😪 I prayed over each of those homes & families, though & God has honored those prayers 💜 🙏 🙌🏻 #reflection #remodel #sold #survivor #love #realestate #project #marriage #home #kitchen #diningroom #design #windowtreatments #lightfixture
My first flip...and I didn't mean to flip it lol! Really, I was in an abusive marriage, so when someone came along & loved the home, it made it easy to accept an offer & move on. This kitchen was the last project in that home before we sold it. I had to make some hasty decisions in order to finish it & looking at the pictures, I'm not thrilled with those choices, however, I'm friends with the family who purchased this home & I love seeing them love it 🥰 It makes my heart happy that the home is now filled with peace & happiness & no longer wrought with pain.
