Saturday and Sunday was spent learning about Yamamoto’s New Scalp Acupuncture technique - and it was intense! I love how @juan_hahn_ynsa could break down and condense decades of learning (50 years for Dr. Yamamoto and 12 years for him) into two days. The learning process was fun and very encouraging, and I was surprised how we all kept up, learning over 100+ extra points in the scalp. We got to treat our partners right away and saw immediate results, which is incredibly promising. And from using 10+ needles in the body down to 1-2 on the scalp, almost sounds miraculous. Definitely one of my best investments this year. If ya’ll need me, I’m a little busy brushing up on cranial nerves! 😅

Look who’s officially an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist! 🙋🏻‍♀️ This was an exhausting week, but I’m glad to have committed to it. Studied with wonderful classmates from all walks of life, got to meet the sweet community of St. Joseph’s Parish, and learned so much from all our patient mentors. 💛 So now, ladies and gentlemen… lend me your ears! 👂

My @smicitcm classmates and I had our first medical mission at the Dr. Ronald P. Guzman Medical Center in Tuguegarao, hosted by the ever generous @aimagoo. Thank you for the wonderful experience - it’s a humbling privilege to be of service. 🙏🏻 I was worried that the patients would be resistant to the idea if being needled, but seeing their amazed faces at their shoulder and back pain or headache disappearing after having a needle inserted in their foot or leg was amusing to watch. ☺️ What you don’t see in the video is the laughter, the exhaustion, and all the love we put into the two days, with sisters Michelle, Faustina, and Amelita setting the example if what selflessness looks like. 🩷
