From stockings to sleeves, creams and bandages, to even the smallest of necessities… we are here to help you get the products you need. Big box stores and other vendors may have some selection, but often you have to wait for the garments to be shipped to you even after being fitted. We are here to expedite the process and taking the visit to the vendor out of the equation.
Here at Adaptive Direct, you can just select and wait for your stockings to be shipped right to your door. Our selection is unbeatable, and we are here to get your orders out in a timely fashion.

ALPS Smart Seal liner allows a non-constrictive hypobaric suspension of the residual limb. It has been engineered using HD Gel and covered by a limited vertical stretch fabric in the distal area for high stability within the socket.

Adaptive Prosthetics & Orthotics llc. is located in Glastonbury, CT. We specialize in Artificial Limbs, Custom Orthopedic Bracing and Compression Garments. Being a local independent provider we take pride in the individualized attention and personal care we provide to our clients. We have on site fabrication to achieve quick turnaround time and immediate adjustments. We also have a gym on site to help you reach your maximum potential.
Since 1997, David Hewett and his team have provided custom devices throughout Connecticut and Southern Massachusetts. We truly care about your recovery. That’s why we go the extra mile to make our care affordable. Most services are covered through your insurance. We are conveniently located near Hartford in Glastonbury, CT.
Our goal is to allow you to reach the highest level of function possible. We want to get you back to your regular daily activities as quickly and safely as possible. We know not everyone will be able to run a marathon, but we will make every effort to put you in the best components to suit your needs. We work with you, your doctor and therapy team to determine your needs and ensure that you are getting the device you need.
