Did you know that Bridge Refugee Services is a nonprofit that uses donations and federal funds to help refugees establish their lives in East Tennessee?

The McClung Museum will host a special family fun day in partnership with Bridge to celebrate Knoxville's diverse cultures. This beautiful painting by Knoxville Impressionist Catherine Wiley, generously loaned by a Wiley descendant, is on view in the KMA lobby in conjunction with the special exhibition American Impressionism: The Lure of the Artists’ Colony. Many of the artists represented in this dazzling collection of 50 masterworks, from the Reading Public Museum in Pennsylvania, showed their work in Knoxville and had close connections to contemporaries like Catherine Wiley, Lloyd Branson, and other East Tennessee artists.
