My sister and I got a good workout in today and decided to have a little fun after with some @blancobrown! This was our rough draft you know we're going to practice and get y'all in on this workout because it was a great leg burner π After some practice we'll be back πͺ
Guys there is a difference between endurance and strength training and being an athlete π I am not an athlete! That takes hand to eye coordination, balance, and all those other talents that I do not have! I think that's why i enjoy being good at workouts, it's the closest I'll ever be to an athlete π Enjoy this Top Golf episode at my expense and ignore the commentary π
#125 hang cleans. That's about the only cleaning I did all week π Hey both of us can't look good. It's me or the house πͺ
So I missed my normal workout time due to meetings and appointments. @annasfitlife and I decided to sneak in a quick 1RM attempt during our busy work day. I can't stop laughing at this video!!! She's right i didn't even try and I knew it too, which is why I'm laughing so hard π 225lbs made it up..... 230lbsπI let that one get the best of me ππ #FunTimesAtTheOffice #SquatWhileYouWork #FlexitPink
Finally Friday and *finally* hit 200 LBS on my front squats!!! This makes for a kickass kick off to the weekend!!!!! Happy Friday hotties ππͺ
A little fun after heavy squats today! 15 box jumps at 32 inches. Best way to work on beating those mental blocks!!! Now if i could have just used that on my snacthes in the 17.3 π€£ Happy Tuesday Babes π
Workout of the day: go down the hill walk up the hill. Repeat x 55 times! Happy New Years! Ready Set Goals!!!
What a way to start a Monday! New back squat PR #240 lbs! Our coach has such good planning to plan 1 rep max week right before Christmas! What a great gift!!! @indianhillscrossfit New PR tank from @flexitpink π
If you have never done a Deadlift Ladder in your workout you have not had fun yet π 1 Minute 105 lbs 120 lbs 135 lbs 150 lbs 165 lbs 175 lbs 185 lbs 195 lbs 205 lbs 215 lbs 225 lbs until 60 seconds is up.... My 6 year old made it a goal to get to 10 pull ups and that's exactly what he did. He practiced everyday, never getting discouraged or gave up, and HE DID it!!!!! He has drive and perseverance and I'm so proud of him. I can't imagine what his life would be if we were living in our old lifestyle but I know he would have never made these goals and for that I'm so thankful that I never gave up! Never GIVE UP! You never know who you're inspiring.
Working out next to @scott_casey99 you can't help but push yourself!!! She's squating 250lbs and that's only 85% off her 1RM I'm over there at 190 lbs trying to keep up with her. Thanks Casey you inspire me to push harder!!!! Especially in today's WOD. On a side note I love @andydiehard's photo bombing skillsππππ
This is my 6 year old son. He works out all on his own every day. He uses YouTube to teach himself how to do things. I found "how to become the strongest six year old" in his YouTube search history. His drive and perseverance amazes me. He taught himself how to do pull ups. He started without being able to do one. THIS is my "why". THIS is WHY I do what I do. Some people call me obsessed or think I'm crazy for putting my workouts and healthy habits so high on my priority list but I'm building strong driven children that don't give up and THAT to me is PRICELESS!!! #StrongLikeMom #FlexitPink #strongkids
My goal has always been to squat the amount of weight that I weighed when I started my journey! Today I hit my GOAL!!!! From weighing 220 lbs to squatting 220lbs! Never give up!!!! Today is my 1 year anniversary with adding Crossfit into my training, I was determined to hit this goal in one year! A huge thank you to the my coaches without them pushing me and their programing I'm almost certain I couldn't have made this goal! Happy Squatterday!!!! XOXO
One thing to remember going into the new year, failing at something means that you tried! Life doesn't require that we be the best only that we try our best! I attempted 175LBS for my front squat 5 rep max and failed after 3. Failing this time won't stop me from working hard at trying again soon! Happy 1st!!!! XOXO
