I honestly can't believe it's been 10 years since this album came out. The actual release date kind of snuck up on me as I was recording my new EP so I thought I would set aside some time to fully remix and remaster this album. I'm hope that you guys will enjoy the new sound when it releases on the 15th of October, 2022.

So I've only recently started collecting some pedals but they've just been sitting on the floor under my desk all unorganised and collecting dust (I was going to share a before pic but I'm kind of embarrassed at how dusty I let my pedals get 😅)

Anyway, I saw that D'Addario and Co. do pedalboards and after half jokingly asking my rep Adam if he could send me one at an Yvette Young clinic in Glasgow, he obliged and more, sending me one of their large XPND pedalboards (as the name suggests, you can expand the width of it), 2 of their solderless patch cable kits and their pedal tuner.

I've never really owned a pedalboard like this before but it was super easy to set up and get my pedals all Velcro'd down. There's Velcro on the bottom as well to hide my power supply. The solderless patch cable kit was super to use and worked without a hitch.

So uh yeah, thanks D'addario and thanks Adam for enabling what could be a future pedal addiction 🤣 Also the Miku is an absolutely horrendous pedal but I'm keeping it purely for meme value.

How would you guys feel if, let's say, I made a jazz fusion/funk EP consisting of 4 or 5 songs. Let's also say that I've already done 2 and a half of said 4 or 5 jazz fusion/funk songs.

I don't often think about my past releases, usually thinking about what I'm doing next instead, but my girlfriend had the idea to frame and mount my releases on the office wall. Looking at it now, I've actually released quite a bit of music over the last 10 years and it's crazy to me that I've had the chance to do all of this.

Seeing all of them up there puts into perspective just how much music I've been able to make and how it's sometimes nice to look back and be proud of what you've been able to achieve. Also so much love to my girlfriend, I would have never had this idea so thanks to her for pushing me to do this and helping me with everything ❤️

Anyway, enough reminiscing. Much love to all of you who have been on this journey with me so far. Expect to hear something very different from me music-wise this year.

Merry Christmas to all of you all around the world. First off, thank you all for an amazing 2021. Despite everything going on in the world, thanks to the support of all of you I have been able to continue doing what I do in a time of huge uncertainty for so many musicians and people involved in the music and wider creative community. I can't thank you all enough for still listening to my music, streaming and buying my records, buying merch, tabs and sharing my music to your friends and families.

I wish all of you the best through the rest of the year and into the next. I hope you, your family and your friends are able to spend their Christmas with their loved ones and I hope that all of you stay safe. If it is available to you, please get vaccinated, boosted, wear a mask and socially distance when out and about. We're not out of the woods just yet so everybody doing their bit can go a long, long way.

The absolute workhorses of the new 10 Year record, my Mayones Aquila and Jabba 5. I got so much out of these two and I feel I could get even more. Love these instruments to bits 😍
