Hey friends! I just finished track 3 of my new EP today and wanted to share a little guitar noodle from the track to celebrate. In this clip I pretend that I can hybrid pick. Enjoy that fresh real amp tone with tubes and everything as well as some lush Horizon Devices Apex overdrive. 4th position on the pickup selector of my Mayones Aquila absolutely essential. Hey friends, here's a clip and an update from the EP I'm working on. Basically I've done a full rework of the mix, drums and recording process for this record since releasing the Invent the Universe remaster which involves 😱😱A REAL AMP😱😱 and 😱😱GUITAR PEDALS😱😱. This is a radical departure from my usual 'do it all with the Axe-FX' method but I'm super happy with the results so far. This does mean I've had to re-record everything I've done so far but it's been really worth it. Also, I've been a social media recluse this last year which was by design but next year I'll definitely be posting more frequent content, behind the scenes stuff and maybe live streams like I used it. It's just part and parcel of being a musician in the internet age but also part of me misses interacting with all of you guys. Anyhow, enjoy the clip and look forward to news about the EP in the new year!
