We were lucky enough to wander aside @travisbower for a winter campout in his #lavvu canvas tent. We spent the afternoon preparing for the set up. Traditionally used by the Sami people of Northern Scandinavia. These people being herders of reindeer, needed a structure that was easily put up and easily taken down to make the follow of the herd easier. Today we got to practice these ways from seeking the best wood, prepping the logs, structuring a staggered tripod for the frame and then with a few shoulder rides accompanying the frame with the canvas. It turn out well and we were grateful to Travis for showing both my self and dear friend @ttwiggystardust what it takes to set up a traditional camp. This is only the start of great things to come between @the_wild_stuff and @travisbower.
