Beautiful story in this video of last moments of Junaid Jamshed's mother's death that he related sometime before passing away! ** Summary of Video's Story ** Here is a summarised translation of the above video for those who do not know urdu: Though she was sick she told her son to be in South Africa (instead of returning to her) for Islamic lecture tour there so that if she were to die she will say to Allah she died when her son was in path of Allah doing good. She lived there after. Later, she died when her son Junaid was on another trip in Canada for Allah! But how did she die? She was on bed, called her daughter in law (Junaid's wife) and said she always treated her like her own daughter and apologised to her in case if she ever mistreated her. She affirmed that indeed she was always well and no less. Then Junaid's mum requested for, and so Junaid's wife, recited Surah Yasin as requested. Then the mother in law lied down with closed eyes and asked her to recite next Surah Rahman. During the recitation, she opened her eyes and said look what a pleasant woman is standing with you and others behind amd the daughter in law said I see no one. These were it seems the angels of death come to take the soul. The daughter in law said to her in that case, (ie if your time is here for death), say the testimony (shahadah) la ilaha illallah (There is no deity except the One God). The mother first asked for her husband (ie Junaid's father) to be called. When he came she said to her husband that "I have always tried as my first priority to safeguard your dignity" and apologised if she ever erred with him as a wife. Then she bore witness Laa ilaha illallah (There is no deity except the One God) and died. Junaid after relating this story at the end of the video prays to Allah to make hos death a nice one. This week as we saw in the news Junaid died in a plane crash in Pakistan while he was out for a trip to do dawah in the path of Allah, truly a beautiful death it seems, insh
