Book mail! The ARC for my novel ALL THEY NEED TO KNOW has arrived. It was waiting on my doorstep when I woke up this morning. The official release date is September 24th. I will post about it when it’s available for preorder, but in the meantime, I’m super excited to share the cover with y’all and see it in my hot little hands. Isn’t she a beauty?

Yesterday I made a stir fry for our Easter brunch, from my haul from the Asian farmers market, because I’m weird that way. For the protein I used black cod. It was sooo yummy, served over rice, we couldn’t stop eating it. We didn’t miss the traditional ham supper.

My friend Jim lives in Woodland, a semi rural area near Sacramento, and he recently rescued a nanny goat that had wandered onto his property. He’s been looking for its owner but no luck so far. And then this…he went out to the barn one morning and found a baby goat, born overnight. He hadn’t even know the nanny goat was expecting! It’s the cutest thing. And if he ends up keeping the goats, he’ll have goat’s milk.

The fireplace is our 1940’s home sure makes for a cozy room on chilly fall nights. This is the original fireplace with a new log set from Rustic Brick and Fireplace. I can’t wait until my hubby Sandy Kenyon and I are snuggled together in the sofa in front of the fire. Home sweet home.
