Life at the moment.. is quiet..

I’m travelling but I haven’t felt to share my life on social media, it has felt like a time to go within, a friend said a sacred journey and that really resonates.

I took a homeopathic remedy and that had a strong emotional unravelling but I relinquish in those moments, there is no avoidance, I enjoy watching those buried emotions rise and be fully felt. I love homeopathy for this ❤️

It’s also been a season of learning (ever the student), taking care of the body and creatively birthing a new way of working.

🌟 Meaningful Monday Reflections: A Journey to Holistic Well-being 🌈

Swipe left for a glimpse into my life 14 years ago – the epitome of what society deemed as conventional happiness. A great job, company car, a beautiful house, and weekend parties for relaxation. Yet, beneath the surface, I was grappling with deep insecurities and a critical self-image. Makeup was my armor, and health issues were my normal – chronic hay fever since age 5, frequent bouts of flu, hormonal imbalances, anxiety, and unpredictable mood swings.

Fast forward to now, and life looks nothing like it did back then. I've traded a permanent address for housesitting in stunning homes and embarked on a European adventure in my beloved van (check out my previous post for the van tour). Every moment is a leap into the unknown, and I've found beauty in life's perfect imperfections.

Today, I have zero health conditions, with only occasional symptoms swiftly corrected to a state of homeostasis. I'm never sick, my cycle is painless and regular, and my emotions flow freely without battles or struggles. The journey to this holistic well-being involved various iterations of my diet and lifestyle, from a WAPF diet to an Oil-Free Vegan (though I don't like labels; I'm in constant evolution), from a stable meditator to a breathwork enthusiast.

The magic isn't in a single transformative moment, but rather in the ongoing commitment to holistic living. Detoxifying my life was at times painful, yet the results are a healthy body and mind. Today, I appreciate a deep sense of peace and self-love, expressing care for my body while indulging in the occasional cup of coffee and perhaps a bit too much cacao. 😉

To anyone facing pain or health challenges, remember, this journey is unique and ever-evolving. There's hope and healing, and sometimes, the keys are simply not known to you… yet. Keep going – this too shall pass, your path to well-being awaits. 💚✨

Clever marketing often teaches us to place a high value on material possessions – a house, a car, the latest phone, a smart television, fashionable clothes, dining out, cinema, concerts. However, it's crucial to realise that all of these external luxuries can lose their significance when our health is compromised.

For me, when I discovered the profound impact of prioritising my health, it quickly became my number one focus. Let's face it, when we feel good in our bodies, filled with vitality, energy, emotional stability, and inner peace, that's when we can genuinely relish all the pleasures life has to offer.

Living with a sense of vitality and well-being is a gift available to everyone. It's a simple shift in our value system that can unlock the door to a life filled with not just possessions, but profound and enduring joy. 🌿 Wellness Wednesday Wisdom! 🌞✨

What did you do to nourish the body today? 🌱 Are you feeling stagnant, fatigued, or low on energy and you are simply pushing through with a cup (or several) of coffee each day. I want to tell you that it doesn’t have to be this way, here are some very simple steps that you can do today to change how you feel:

💚 Raising Your Vibration
Start with:

🥦 Nourishing your body with natural organic (when possible) whole foods, some raw for that extra vitality.
😴 Prioritising restful sleep to recharge your mind and body.
🤗 Surrounding yourself with a community that uplifts, encourages, and makes you laugh (even when you want to hibernate for the winter (this is often me!)
💧 Holistic Habits for Health:
Ensure your well-being by:

🚰 Opting for clean water (say no to unfiltered tap water!) to hydrate your body.
🌬️ Breathe clean air at home by reducing chemicals wherever possible.
🧘‍♀️ Relax your nervous system with meditation, breathwork, and the soothing scents of essential oils
🌍 Challenge the Norm:

We live in a world where disease and symptoms are accepted and considered normal. Medications 💊might help you manage your symptom in the short-term but the healthcare system is flawed, it was never designed to, or able to transform your health, only YOU can do that.

Someone asked me the other day where the name came from “The Life Sutra” and I haven’t expanded on it here before so here is a little background.

12 years ago, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and health that transformed my life. It all began with a profound shift in perspective, triggered by reading 'The Power of Now.' Anxiety and depression, which had once plagued me, dissipated. The crutches I used to fill a void of unease —alcohol, drugs, and overeating—became unnecessary in the face of newfound peace.

Life was not perfect but over time I needed to change my experience less and less and so the suffering abated.

My quest for health and self-awareness deepened, especially as I witnessed my daughter's struggle with chronic eczema. I realized that within us lies an innate knowledge of our natural state of health, both in body and mind. This realisation led me to study with those that had mastered their craft in various fields, not only Nutritional Therapy but also techniques like EFT, hypnotherapy, and NLP to nurture a healthy mind.

There's so much more to this journey, and if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. My hope is that everyone can experience the profound joy of a healthy body and mind, bringing about peace for themselves and those around them. In today's world, what could be more essential?

🌿🌿🌿It’s the perfect w**d foraging season, we are picking in the field most days, here are some of my favourites.. 🌿🌿🌿

🌿Nettles:
Did you know that nettle is packed with vitamins and minerals that can benefit your health? Nettle tea can help with allergies, inflammation, and joint pain.
Nettle leaf is also a natural diuretic, which means it can help reduce water retention and bloating.


🌱Cleavers:
Have you tried cleavers? It's known to support the lymphatic system and aid in detoxification.
Cleavers have been used for centuries to support skin health and promote healthy digestion. Cleavers tea can help with urinary tract infections and other bladder-related issues.


🍃Dandelion:

Health IS wealth….but it doesn't have to cost a fortune! 💰 When I began my health journey, I had very little money to spare. But that didn't stop me from making positive changes to my lifestyle! 🧘‍♂️ Through online courses and research, I discovered health hacks that were free or very affordable, such as walking in nature, foraging, meditation and eating organic veggies 🥕 🥦( my top 10 listed above).

As I continued to prioritise my health, I started to attract my perfect clients and my career and income also grew. This allowed me to invest in health tools that have been game changers for me, such as my sauna 🧖‍♀️ frequency machine ✨✨ and many others 👓.

✅1) Drinking water that hydrates the cells is vital for carrying toxins out of the body, the simplest way to do this is to add some freshly squeezed lemon to your glass of water that you drink first thing in the morning. You can also do the same with a drop or two of doTERRA lemon oil, this supports the liver to detox the chemicals from the body.

✅2) Your skin is your largest detox organ and if we sweat, we can carry a lot of toxins out of the body, some form of jumping whether it’s running or star jumps increase the flow through the lymphatic system, think of this like your sewage system and will help to more quickly remove the toxins out of the body

✅3) This one most know about but try to consume some raw so that you have enzymes for digestion, vitamin C (destroyed with cooking) for detox and also it will help to improve bowel movements with the fibre.

✅4) The biggest reason we need to enhance detox pathways is because we are overburdened with toxins in our home, you can’t remove them all but you can reduce the chemicals in your home.

✅5) I love fermented foods, they improve the motility of your gut, support your immune system and powerfully help to remove toxins and pesticides from the body.

🪴Most of us have grown up with some form of “hereditary” condition and so the health that exists as our natural state has alluded us.

🏥We have a medical world that teaches how to treat symptoms and therefore very few know or have time to support integrated health.

🍏It took many years of changes, new habits, studying, treating each symptom as an exploration, to become fearless about disease and sickness. This knowledge can be shared but sometimes we need extra emotional support and time to integrate these changes. Finally, some good news in Alzheimer's research: I am both happy and grateful to announce something that is ground-breaking yet also intuitive. Our precision medicine protocol, which targets the root causes of cognitive decline, produced the first clinical trial success for treating Alzheimer's and MCI. Unlike other trials, which have only managed to slow disease progression slightly at best, 84% of our participants experienced improvements in cognition. I have been prepping (no longer a conspiracy theory) for a while. I’m always thinking about how I can store food for a duration of time without compromising on nutrient value for my health.

- Dried Lentils and Beans can be sprouted to increase the nutrient content.
- Fermenting Kimchi and Sauerkraut (you can pretty much ferment anything that is natural) and it’ll keep for years in cool storage and keep your gut healthy when eating
- Sprout vegetable seeds - broccoli, radish, pea etc (all you need is a jar, cheesecloth and an elastic band) and you get the most ridiculously high nutrient value in a handful!
- Basmati Rice keeps for years in storage
- Learn which “w**ds” can be eaten - dandelion, daisies, nettles, blackberries (just be careful to research edible w**ds and make sure they have not been recently sprayed with w**d killer)
- Spices, last for years, adding flavour and health benefits (e.g turmeric, clove and oregano)

Quick tip - Add some diatomaceous earth between bags in storage, they help to deter bugs and acts as a natural preservative.
