After taking the train up South to North of state, I arrived at my final destination on this journey (for now) - the monastery. I'll be here for some time to practice and study Zen.

I came out here to retrace steps in an old stomping ground and visit friends who are more like family to me.
There was so much joy and freshness being back. And also some sadness and grief, letting go of old identities and stories as I walk forward on this path.
