~ SUMMER ~
I am really missing being at festivals with the crêpe stall and a whole crew this year. It's incredibly full-on to do an entire summer of traveling from field to field when you have a little one (or 3!) in tow... I've been asked to join some festivals 300+ miles away, but for now, I'm mostly sticking with local markets, day events, and evening pop-ups until my smallest can join me on the road for more adventures ~ in the meantime, I'll be training her up, so she'll be a crêpe master in no time! 🥞
But fear not, I have lots of lovely events lined up over the next few months, here's a few where you can find me in June...

*Don't know what Flora Day is? Say whaaaat?! It's one of the biggest events that happens in Helston each and every May, celebrated for hundreds of years to cheer at the return of spring. Thousands of people line the streets to dance from dawn til dusk. And errr, it's also been a big tradition since 2024 to eat crêpes. Lots of crêpes. All day long. 👀

🌸🌿 If you know me well, you'll know I love a good forage. My 5 year old daughter has caught my foraging obsession and now follows me around the woods asking if she can help collect berries, leaves, mushrooms and flowers ~ she even has her own beautiful little basket to collect such treasures.
A couple of weeks ago, we picked and pressed these primroses, which are now dried and ready to be used to decorate cakes.
The cakes above are Chai Spiced Carrot Cakes (which I made, but she took all of the pride in placing the dried primroses on top, and of course taste testing them!)
I'm going to be opening my books up soon for private & wholesale cake orders ~ a sample menu is in the making... 👀

~🌱 Hello Spring 🌱 ~
I'm excited to make the first batch of dandelion honey this year, now that the dandelions are popping out in abundance. Plus, there's plenty of wild garlic and three cornered leek just waiting to be turned into some delicious pesto ~ all to be added to the menu soon!
And... it's nearly that time of year again to fire up the crepe griddles once again...

The .tregew are opening its doors to a Wednesday evening night market during the school holidays. Come and enjoy local food trucks, live music, lovely drinks vendors, craft stalls and more... take in the views and relax with live music playing in the background.

I set up my little business in 2015, inspired to create delicious plant based food at events where there was often next to no choice of vegan offerings. Over the past 8 years, the movement has grown massively and it's amazing to see so many vegan businesses thriving in Nottingham.
In 2020, the pandemic forced a lot of changes in my personal life, so I took a hiatus, changed my business name/model, and set about catering at markets, festivals, and private events once again.
I'm so grateful for all of the support from amazing customers, event organisers, film crew, and other businesses hiring me for private catering. Alas here comes the news...
I've decided it's now time to move back to Cornwall, to be back by the sea where I feel the happiest. My time in Nottingham has been such an adventure and I've met so many incredible people that I'll never forget. So, it's goodbye Nottingham, and hello Kernow. I'll be bringing my little business with me, so keep a look out for me or my crew if you're ever on holiday, at a festival, or visiting the south west! And feel free to drop me a message if you wanna know where to score the best vegan pasties from 🤩

Each time you buy yourself a crêpe/coffee/hire me for a private catering job/share social media posts/recommended me to others ~ you make me feel that my time spent doing what I do is worth the while.
