I recently became guardian to this magnificent ancient apple tree here in Penryn. It's amazing to think about how many people must have enjoyed it's sweet, delicious fruit over it's lifetime ~ I imagine the tree is over 100 years old!

The mushrooms are loving all of this rain we've been having, and I was lucky enough to find a whole basket of these beauties today ~ Imleria Badia ~ aka Bay Boletes, very similar to a porcini mushroom. And the biggest sweet chestnuts I think I've ever come across!
