Adventurous Sunday, Something about being in nature listening to the birds, water running, and kids playing hide n seek is certainly soul soothing.

Did anyone happen to catch the moon last night ? It was so red at around 6pm as we were driving to pick hubby up from work it literally stopped us in our tracks.

📍 Newcastle - Nobbys Beach

Recommended to us by a follower 😍 It was so nice to enjoy the day by the ocean.

It's honestly so true that the ocean soothes your soul 🤍🌊

We enjoyed lunch at 🐟🍟 while watching the whales 🐋 perform their magic.

Highly recommend grabbing a juice, bite to eat and enjoy this amazing beach ✨️

No luck 🎣 this time, We ate certainly missing catching dinner 🐟 We enjoyed our time here, though the drive was super pretty 🥰....

📍 The Drip Gorge

📍Barrington tops

There are so many nice places to see/camp at the tops, we gone up here twice...

The first time we travelled through with our van and pooch 🐕 it was a little sketchy with our van it was slippery in some places, but hubby, as usual, handled it like a boss. 💪

The second time, We went in search of snow and looked around to see the area. There are so many places to stay and explore 😍 lots of brumbys, we have seen a wombat unfortunately it wasn't alive 😕 seen many waterfalls, creeks, hikes, lookouts and more.

Have just discovered the fish in the creeks are rainbown and brown trout, If you're into fishing like us, be prepared we weren't and kicking ourselves we didn't have the right gear for a flick. 🎣

All these questions have always raised my concern & I sat on the fence about it for too long already, so I changed it.

When exploring the Barrington tops, we highly recommend to pull up for a cuppa at the firs absolutely stunning 🫶 I would look amazing covered in snow, too .

Super proud of our daughter ❤️ here's to the next 120 hours of driving 🚗 🤩

Although we love our these would be things we would change in our future living in the van full-time you work out what works and doesn't

It's the "Quick Babe, let's get a selfie" that gets me, My husband used to absolute HATE the camera, Would be like "Not again babe really" type a bloke now living on the road and working in digital marketing he realises how much they mean to me, I transfer them all on to a hard drive too so i don't lose anything!

It's the little things in life that make me appreciate you even more. ❤️

📍Lakeside Holiday Park ~ Forster 🌊

The park consists of cabins, powered & non powered sites.

🏞 Lake frontage, We sited a few octopus 🐙 ashore.
🏊‍♀️ Heated pool.
🧸Playground
🏀Basketball court

We had lunch at Club Forster, which had $15 lunch special of Thai 🍛

The weather was sh*tty so we didn't do much but overall a nice coastal town to stop in and explore.

Do you find yourself the happiest near the water? We do! This place is stunning, The colour of the water reminds us of Cape York 😍 if you're doing the East Coast, certainly book into south west rocks.

Its a family thing 🤍🐕

📍 Trial Bay Goal, South West Rocks

I would highly recommend, Exploring this stunning heritage listed place. We even seen lots of whales playing about in the ocean. 😍

Yesterday's sunset was something else 🌄

To be able to reflect on our day together as a family, create a memory bank with something so simple as this makes our hearts full. 💕

If you asked us as a couple, what would be your ultimate date... It would literally be hanging out watching the sunrise or the sunset with nibblys, 🍻🥂.

It's the simple things in life that make our heart whole 🫶

P.s pop always fed magpies, and ever since he passed, we seem to always have them hanging around... probably being a stickybeak as usual 🤭🕊

We love good Thai 🍜 We highly recommend dropping into Khrua Thai by Khan on Bridge Street (main drag) in Muswellbrook NSW absolutely delicious 😋

📍Boundary Falls, Gibraltar Range NSW

Enjoyed hot chocolates and the atmosphere of boundary falls, located off the Gwyider highway 🏞
Boundry Falls has a number of sites for overnight stays or longer. Be sure to check out the national park sites for bookings.

Plenty of picnic tables, BBQs, this place is perfect for swimming in the summer time. I wouldn't risk the cold temperatures I the winter 🤪
