As we head into week 4 team day tomorrow we find Black Clouds holding onto the lead by 2 points over 💜 and ‘s Minions.
‘s Blue Lightning has won back to back team competitions and last weeks Individual competition; golf wedge and putt was won by the Black Clouds.
3 weeks left! The race to team champion 2024 is tight!

“ I’m picking Cooper Freitas because of the dedication that I’ve seen in all football related activities in the past week and from leadership roles that he’s displayed for his summer team, The Black Clouds., at Powercamp, and at lineman practices ( from what many other lineman have said about it bc I asked them).
It also extends from last year where he was a very vocal and mindful leader at JV games.
He is respectful to all coaches and players. Overall his leadership and dedication to the team is the reason why I picked him. “

Our Summer Strong 24 team competition for began last week. Teams are drafted by our weight room captains and every Wednesday we get our MaxV day in and then compete.
Purple Hearts 💜 came out on top for Tug of War but Black Clouds took the overall lead by having two of its members win the Individual competition which was Farmer Carry Last Man Standing. Each team chose a LM,BS and Skill and competed head to head with their body weight on the bar. It was a great lesson in math. 🤓

Congratulations to Lancer Football / Track athlete for earning the very first 2024 Black Knight Helmet. This is given by me to an athlete who has earned it based on his consistency, effort, willingness to be coached, leadership , improvement and demonstrating respect for teammates, facilities and coaches. His job is now to present it to another deserving athlete that he feels has earned it.
The helmet will be passed on after team days In the summer and on Thursdays during the season. Each athlete will sign it and it will be displayed until next summer.

Always a bittersweet time of year for me. I’ve had the pleasure to work with and establish relationships with these and so many other athletes for 4 years. Are they ready?
The speeches at the varsity awards were amazing. The values and lessons we have tried to instill were evident. In all the speeches I heard the words, consistency, unselfish, team first, accountability, respect and my favorite “unity is strength” thanks 👊🏼.
Some of you came in matured some needed time to cook. You are all brilliant in your own special ways. I will miss you but you are all ready to fly! I can’t wait to see your adventures.
Always remember you are Lancers for life. Stay safe, stay strong, make good decisions and never forget that Tradition Never Graduates. Best of luck class of 2024!

Had a great time learning and refreshing my emergency skills with the Sports Medicine Emergency Management Instructors (SMEM). Emergency assessments Spine boarding, splinting, heat emergencies, cardiac emergencies, airway management all potential scenarios that every Athletic Trainer needs to be comfortable with managing in the event of an emergency.
It was great learning with so many AT’s from the state. Thank you for hosting the team from SMEM!

Throw back to our last female NHSSCA HS All American! .komst is in her final season as a Gettysburg Bullet Softball player. She has had a great collegiate career!!
・・・komst work ethic and consistent effort has lead her to become strong and confident.
In addition to excelling academically since entering high school, Gia has added winter track and has emerged as a top state shot putter. She’s added various school club and community activities to her primary sport softball and has an active family and social life.
Balancing her challenging schedule she has maintained consistency in her training and has used her strength to improve athletic performances and build durability.
In 2019 she was honored with a nomination and selection as the schools first National High School Strength and Conditioning All American
Most important, she has become a leader, a role model and despite misperceptions about the value of female athletes using the weight room to become strong she has continued to
challenge herself to become better every day!

Congratulations to Jaydon Navarro who has earned his nomination & recognition as an NHSSCA
All American for 2024. Our Londonderry Lancer Football
2023 Lancer Strong recipient, Jaydon respected the process from day 1.
To be considered, Jaydon had to demonstrate strength in 2/4 lifts and 2/4 speed and jump parameters based on his bodyweight. He needed a solid GPA, achievements in athletics, community service, and a demonstration of both leadership and character. The letter of recommendation he received from one of his teachers was truly inspiring and reflected who Jaydon is as a person. One of the most committed and respectful student athletes I've had an opportunity to work with. His plan is to pursue a career in the health field as a PA. His passion and his character will make him great at whatever lies ahead of him.
It was a true pleasure to be part of his journey.

Congratulations to 3 sport varsity athlete and UNH Football bound Tyler Miles who has been nominated for and earned recognition as a 2024 NHSSCA All American. Ty was nominated for his 4 year dedication to Lancer Power, his leadership and above all else his character.
In addition to being nominated by an NHSSCA Strength Coach he had to meet 2/4 performance and 2/4 strength parameters, had to attain a high level GPA , athletic achievements, community service, demonstrations of leadership and a letter of recommendation from both myself and a teacher or coach.
Congratulations to TY, can't wait to see what he can do at the next level! UNH is getting another great player and even better person.

Jay I am devastated to learn of your passing. You always put a smile on my face and you always made me feel happy when you were around. Even watching your college adventures unfold made me smile. I know others felt the same. You were the sweetest, kindest person always willing to help. You are an amazing human.
I know I speak for Lancer Nation when I say you will be fiercely and forever missed. Give Naar a big hug. Although I’d rather have you here…Heaven has gained another beautiful angel.
