Mindful Empathy
By understanding our human nature, how our brain works, and our emotions influence us, we can learn to manage ourselves, our thoughts, and our emotions.
This way we can take care of our own well-being and build more kind and inclusive relationships.

So grateful to have met the Argentinian Ambassador, MarÃa Belén Bogado, yesterday at the event organised by Argentinian, Denise Lovato of Viva La Vida. As the daughter of an Argentinian diplomat, we share common friends, past and present, and am excited to connect with them again soon thanks to meeting her. Here she is holding my book, "Mindful Empathy", which she says is keen to start reading it. Thank you!
More and more research into mindfulness in different areas, from positive psychology to neurosciences and medical research, mindfulness has consistently proven to help decrease stress and improve our health and wellbeing.
Through mindful meditation you can learn empathy, in particular compassionate empathy, which expands our heart and helps improve our relationships.
Happy Mother's Day!
How well do you concentrate every day? Most people have many more thoughts than they need every day. High performance sportspeople, on the other hand, require high concentration and focus during extended periods of time. How do they do it? They are fully present, mindful of their opponent's every move, because their success depends on their acute awareness, or sense of where the ball might land next. Mindfulness practices can help you develop the concentration to succeed in your daily endeavors. www.mindful-empathy.com

What a magical moment! Presenting Mindful Empathy was a wonderful experience. With music from the band Twisted Brass LLC, a guest speaker who spoke about her experience using mindful empathy tools when a recently appointed manager, and a 10 minute video with Wayne Duncan which was applauded in his absence, and some mindfulness activities, meditation and visualisations we did, it was a phenomenal evening.
Thank you to all the wonderful book launch team who played their part in making the event a success! Basil Moskovis (MC), Rochelle Wilson (social media support and registration) Pip Young (preparation of food platters, which were very complimented!). Thanks to Spreydon Toastmasters Club, who supported me in developing my speaking skills and for all the support to make progress in my speaking career, and even if indirectly also my writing career.
May you and your families have a wonderful holiday season!!
