The Cartoon your Pet fundraiser for Making Miracles Animal Rescue ended with us raising $215 !! 😁 Look at all these adorable faces !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️Lisa cartooned 6 cats and 12 dogs for us 🥰

This tally brings her total raised for rescues since October 2023 to $27,705. Her next fundraiser begins July 8 for Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary.

Emmy was adopted through MMAR several years ago, and her home environment proved to be to stressful for her and so a few months ago she came back to us and one of our Amazing fosters has been allowing her to decompress and go through necessary testing to rule out things causing the out of the litter box accidents. Currently on meds to deal with stress, this beautiful kitty is searching for her forever home where she gets to be the only pet (I know big ask) in the current state of rescue in our country. She is beyond a lover and would spend all day every day in your lap. Only Pet would be best and no small children, as we want to set her up for success. 😍😍🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Carly Pupdate !! From her forever family ❤️❤️🐾

Carly got her cast off this week! She went to the groomer yesterday and had a bath, her nails trimmed and her teeth brushed. She is feeling like a new woman 🐶💕.

Beautiful fall picture of our MMAR alum Jake (formerly Winthrop). We are thankful that his Momma keeps us updated on Mr. Jake ❤️❤️🐾🐾

Jake’s biopsy results are in and he has another type of cancer, a soft tissue sarcoma. (It’s not the melanoma that keeps coming back in his mouth.) With this new cancer, tumors will recur but it can be managed by removing the lumps immediately while they are small. Our understanding is that if we do this it’s likely the cancer will not metastasize. The size of the tumor caused it to be grader higher but there is no indication the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes.

So we watch him like a hawk and keep him happy. That’s not a problem at the moment as after having the 10 inches of stitches removed on Monday, he’s been prancing and dancing around here all day every day as well as behaving like a puppy, a 100 lb puppy. Demanding to go on walks and stalking me for treats. 🤣🤣🤣

We are all pulling for Jake and his family to continue fighting the good fight and having many years of puppy days ahead ❤️❤️🐾🐾
