This page is about learning how to fall in love with life and integrating health by honoring our min Wellness has many meanings.
The reason that I became a Personal Trainer was, and still is, to share wellness with others. For me wellness is being happy in your own skin, being able to move your body in a functional way, getting quality sleep, being grateful, managing stress, having healthy relationships with people, with your body AND with food. It's truly an honor to be on this journey. Like Confucius said, "Choose a job y

It's been just over 365 days of The Grow Programs, and I could not be more grateful for both, those who have tried the programming, and those who have stuck with it. The dedication and determination it takes to complete at-home programmed workouts is next level. You guys are truly impressive and should be proud.
Here's to another year of growth, non-scale victories (because f*ck the scale), strength gains, and prioritizing both physical and mental well-being. Keep up the fantastic work, and best wishes for continued success with your future programs! π±
Cheers to YOU. Xo

Getting back in the gym this January? Start low and slow. Honestly, just getting to the gym 3 times/ week is a big effort.
Start walking for 30 minutes each visit. Maybe adding in a little body weight circuit such as:
10 squats
10 push ups
10 sit ups
10 hip lifts
10 back extensions
Eventually, decrease walking time, increase circuit rounds and start to add weights.
If they can do it, you can too. Promise.
Hello 2024!

My priority list:
Family & Friends
Nature & Self Care
Work & Financial Goals
Gym & Exercise
Just because the gym isn't at the top of my priority list doesn't mean I am not prioritizing my health, and it doesn't mean my physical goals suffer.
This is my 13th year in the industry -- I've watched too many people let the gym take centre stage, when, in my opinion, it belongs in the 4th row. My thoughts on this are for another day, but to summarize:
Life is for living. Avoid or minimize the things that do not allow you to do so.

Is motivation a constant? Or should it be a constant in order to achieve goals?
Absol-fu$%ing-utely not. Motivation comes and goes in waves, and it always will.
Enter consistency. Consistency requires discipline. Motivation requires energy.
Consistently doing something will allow for habits to form, which in time will allow for something to become ingrained and second nature.
Depending on your energy and enthusiasm to pursue goals is risky, as energy wanes, and therefore, your desire for your goals will too.
Consistency is king. Use motivation as a tool alongside consistency to pursue long-term goals with excitement as it comes, but use discipline and consistency daily.
Just me and a weiner π π
Happy long weekend all. Be good, and if you can't be good, then be safe.
