It can be hard to say no when you feel pressured by somebody you care about, and who is supposed to care about you. Love looks like patience, consideration, and accepting ‘no’ as an answer. Love is not threats and guilt-tripping. If somebody is using these means to gain your consent, it is unlikely that they have your best interests at heart. No means no. You don’t owe anybody your consent, even if you care for them. If you have a story you would like to share, you can find us at www.shesacrowd.com 💜 #Survivors #MeToo #ShareYourStory #DataForGood

I'm sure we can all relate to a time when we've let someone down easy, instead of saying how we really felt. No matter how close you may be with someone, or how many dates you've been on, there is no excuse to touch or grope another person without their consent. If you’ve had an experience similar to this, and feel like you want to get it off your chest, She’s A Crowd has a completely anonymous web app where you can safely tell your story. We see you, we hear you, and we believe you, always. . . . #ShareYourStory #ChangeTheStory #Feminism #Reels [Video Description: Our founder and CEO Zoe Condliffe sits in her room, wearing a purple jumper. On LinkedIn News this week, She’s A Crowd’s Founder and CEO, Zoe Condliffe, was interviewed as part of the Rapid Fire series to answer some burning questions about how our social impact-based organisation works and what it's about. When asked about the role of our data activists and what they do, Zoe spoke to the dedication and passion they invest into changing the way survivors are listened to and learnt from within our global community: “The way that we currently collect data reflects existing oppressions and power dynamics in our society. So, data activists basically dedicate their lives to collecting the invisible and untold stories of groups that are marginalised or oppressed in society. And we call these data counter data.” #ShareYourStory #ChangeTheStory #RapidFire #LinkedInNews #LinkedIn #SocialImpact #CounterData #DataActivism . . .
