Artists Hailey Beavis and Emily Margaret Randall (b. 22/3/85 and 23/3/85) team up for their second duo exhibition, Pleasure, opening Saturday 1 April at 6:30pm at Superoni in Stockbridge.
In 2019 Hailey and Emily, who barely knew eachother at the time, came together to plumb their wounds and pool their tears into ‘Whatever You Feel I Do Too’, an installation and collection of works about navigating loss and uncertainty, on show at the then Tollcross-based vegetarian cafe and center-of-arts-chaos, the Forest.
Hailey and Emily now present the long awaited sequel exhibition ‘Pleasure’, at Stockbridge’s luxurious butcher and pie shop, Superoni. ‘Pleasure’ sees new leaves turned over for the artists as they reflect on precious moments of human connection and explore the thrill of self indulgence. Hailey and Emily’s collages, paintings and mixed media works cut through the malaise of existence and celebrate the moments that make life worth living!
All of these little reminders of past great lipstick times on receipts in my wallet!
Blurry, stripy and happy after a super fun live session with Vic Galloway on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Sounds last night. What a great team -- all good vibes.

Hiya!
Today I am saying thankyou to for awarding me funding to help with the release of my album.
Furthermore, the 1 - 1 industry guidance sessions and mental health support they provided as a stipulation of the funding was pretty brilliant. It helped me take stock of where I'm at, and just having hours to chat to various professionals in the industry helped me figure out what I need to do next.
Mega thanks 💫✨🌟🌷⚡🌞
PS that jumper was pure wool and I shrunk it in the wash. Gutted
