Today was an incredibly meaningful day at Meyer Prep as our 7th grade students led us in a moving Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Remembrance Day Ceremony. During the ceremony, we lit candles in memory of the millions who perished and reflected on the importance of never forgetting the atrocities of the Holocaust. During the 8th grade Israel Trip, the students participated in the Holocaust ceremony at Begin School in Tzfat. Elysha L. made the entire Meyer Prep family so proud when she played Eli Eli on her flute. We are grateful for the opportunity to come together as a community to remember and honor those who were lost during the Holocaust, and to educate our students about this important part of history. Never Forget! Never Again!

Today at Meyer Prep we had a heartful 8th-grade Israel Trip send-off. It’s going to be an incredible journey, and they are looking forward to making unforgettable memories with their classmates and teachers. From visiting historic landmarks to trying delicious Israeli cuisine, we know this trip will be something special. We wish then Nesiah Tova! Have a safe and incredible trip!
