☀️ Having a creative day working outside today ☀️

This is a far cry from spending 12+ hours a day shut away working in Orthopaedic Theatres - it was heavy, hectic, thankless and I never saw day light (big shout out to my NHS friends, they are warriors 🫶) but after 20+ years working for the NHS I’ve paid my dues and I feel eternally grateful for taking a chance on me - a chance to start healing from trauma, burnout and no self worth, a chance to stop living by other peoples rules and take back the ownership of the trajectory of my own life, the chance to spend time with my husband and kids, the chance to start the business I’ve dreamt about for so long, helping ladies like me remember who the heck they are!

Life is about choices…why not start by choosing you?

I worked my butt off for over twenty years in a well respected career in Orthopaedic surgery and like every ‘people pleasing good girl’ I arrived early, I stayed late, I missed important family time, and accepted the toxicity and abuse from those in my workplace who were allegedly mentoring and nurturing me. And whilst it appeared I was excelling in my career and home life, I was slowly slipping away, one screaming attack after another, living a life of fear, exhaustion, heartbreak and burnout…

I’ve gone from being a burnt out, exhausted, ‘couldn’t tell you what my son just said to me’ frazzled mum of three to ‘calm, fully listening and loving ALL the gossip and funny stories, thinking I’m hilarious and excited for the school holidays’ mum of three 🥰.

Loving my kids has never been an issue, but two years ago I was on a downward, rocky road to ‘nothing ever good happens down there’ place but after Belief Coding - whoosh - my life is unrecognisable (in every area 💫)!

I’m lighter, brighter and, as sappy as it might sound, grateful every day to spend as much time with my kids as I am blessed to 🫶.
