“Brown Box” track 6 from the album coming out Feb 26. . This is actually the first full song I wrote for the album. It’s a love song about the impermanence of life and the undying nature of love. We really wanted the recording of this song to feel raw and vulnerable, so we did a live take at Jason’s home studio. The vocal and guitar mistakes in the song help create a representation of real life’s imperfection when we’re so used to listening to perfect recordings and perfectly tuned voices. “Forest Fire” - track #6 on my album coming out on FEB 26!!!! . This one is going to be particularly fun and interesting to share. It leans heavily into drastic dynamics and large string arrangements to tell the story of isolation and a spiritual awakening that helped me out of it. I think it’s both the SADDEST and HAPPIEST song on the album. It’s definitely a journey. And I think you’ll be blown away by what @sarahruththatviolinist @torriweidinger and @jsnbnntt did with the strings. Co-written with @bitterbea . Out Feb 26

“Better Than You” by @nemobathers . I love this song and I’ve been messing around with it for the past week, so I thought I’d share. Definitely check out the rest of his stuff! It’s so good: great lyrics, great melodies, and hits you right in the gut.
