Hello May…..one of my favourite months. I spent some time this morning watching the little birds swooping in & out of the garden…full of joy. Blue tits nesting in the box on the tree…popping in & out. Two pairs of cheeky Robins dodging around keeping an eye on their kingdom. Mr & Mrs Blackbird stamping on the grass seeking worms for breakfast. Mr Magpie bounding in like a crazy toddler. Handsome Mr Bullfinch giving his dandy show, he’s gorgeous& he knows it. A flurry of Sparrows whizz here & there. The Nuthatch with its peachy belly feathers adds class. Chubby pigeon flapping in & making them all scurry too the bushes. The ever present seagulls squawk high above….we live nearby the river Tamar and not far from the sea. The apple tree blossom is out now….my favourite out of the cherry, pear & plum……fingers crossed for apples this year.
