Welcome the Kingston Cannons and Peterborough Lakers to the league!
"Here we grow again by adding two new teams, Peterborough Lakers and Kingston Cannons, to what is already probably the largest senior women’s box lacrosse league in the world. Having these new eastern Ontario based teams will provide more opportunities for young women in that part of our province to continue to play a game they love. Interested in playing for the new teams? Unlike OLA Minor Lacrosse, WMSL players are not bound by municipality rules. Therefore, any player not currently protected by or rostered to a WMSL team regardless of where they reside in the province is welcome to try-out for the new Peterborough or Kingston teams. And don’t forget about our other teams in case they are more your style: the Akwesasne Outlaws, Arthur Aces, Grand River Attack, Hamilton Bengals, London Thrashers, Mimico Mountaineers, Mississauga Badgers, Niagara Turtle Islanders, Toronto Stars and Whitby Rush.

The Kingston Cannons are proud to announce the expansion of Women’s Major Series Lacrosse, Canada’s Premier Women’s Lacrosse League, to Kingston, Ontario. We are proud to be an extension of the Kingston Krossfire Minor Box Lacrosse Program. We are eager to pick up where your 2014 U-15 ‘A’, 2015 U-17 ‘A’, 2015 U-22 ‘C’, 2016 U-22 ‘B’, and 2019 U-22 ‘A’ Ontario Lacrosse Champions left off.
Sometimes one of our mommas are in a pinch for a sitter.

The Grand River Attack took Laxnai by storm this past weekend! 🔥🔥
Spread across 3 separate teams, 14 ladies hit the floor and played phenomenal lacrosse !
11 represented Haudenosaunee Nationals finishing 3rd place, 2 represented the Mavericks and 1 winning herself a 1st place finish representing the BP Lawyers!!
We are always proud of the strides these women make in Women’s Box Lacrosse, now they head into tryouts for a potential spot on a team for the first ever Worlds in Sept 2024 🤩

After a hard fought weekend the Grand River Attack are WMSL B Provincial Champions!
After finishing 2-1-1 in round robin play, the attack defeated Mississauga 8-0 in the semi finals to take on the Niagara Turtle Islanders 🔥🔥
After an exhilarating DOUBLE OVER TIME we defeated them 4-3!!! 🔥🔥
A huge shoutout to our ladies for their never quit attitude

Tons of female lacrosse action from all ages this weekend in Whitby !!
If you’re in the area the Attack play @ 12:15pm vs Mimico + @ 4:45pm vs Mississauga!!
All WMSL games will be featured on pad 4 @ Iroquois Park ! 🙌🏾🔥🔥
Game Day Tomorrow 🎉
The Women's Major Series Lacrosse continues tomorrow with all teams heading to Whitby's Iroquois Park to play 2 games each.
The Whitby Rush, our league day hosts, will start us off at 10:15 AM when they take on the Akwesasne Outlaws and we'll finish with our last game between the Arthur Aces and the London Thrashers starting at 6:45 PM.
Iroquois Park is the place to be tomorrow as the Whitby Warriors Girls Tournament is also taking place this week where some U15, U17 and U22 teams will also be in action. Only way to watch the games is in person so make your way down the arena sometime tomorrow.

The women faced their first set of teams this past weekend 🔥🔥
First up was a 7-0 loss against the Whitby Rush.
After having to rebuild in the off season, there was a lot of game play adjustments done with the returning veterans, and for the group of rookies to find their footing on the floor
After a little breather and a quick offence run through between games, next up was the Hamilton Lady Bengals
With much improved communication, they were able to capture an 8-4 victory, with 2 rookies getting their names on the scoreboard with a goal each!
Our next league day is June 24, 2023 @ Iroquois Park in Whitby.
