The art of making special underwear ✨🌸🍃 organic cotton / hemp jersey knit fabric sewn up my dear sister friend @moon.over.water. Our first round of #mowuderwearclub ( moon over water underwear club - the natural dye edition ) was indigo. This month I’m creating layers. The first layer, bundle dyed with eucalyptus, marigolds, safflower & log wood chips. After they’ve steeped and sit for awhile, I’ll unbundle them, tye em up again, and immerse them in a madder root dye bath as the second layer, adding depth & design. Each pair has the receivers name hand stamped in them ( one of my favourite details) I said the name of each person & imbued my love into each pair ✨ a labour of love indeed. We are thinking of offering a summer round of underwear club. 3 months, 3 pairs of our favourite undies. A tiny collection. Stay tuned for the roll out of that. ( also, my favourite vessels for storing flowers & barks & bits are from Tara Love ❤️)
