It was glute day. And I think we almost died. Maybe. 100 walking lunges Supersets-4x -Abductor machine-sitting on the very edge 10 reps at your 60%. And then hovering for 10 reps at your 100% -leg extension-15 reps. Quick concentric then slow release Superset 4x Smith machine-15reps-increase weight each set, 10 second lockout at the top. We finished at 230lbs Double banded lateral walks-band at thighs and at mid calf. 17 steps each direction 100 walking lunges 10 resistance band oblique twists 10 single leg glute bridge 10 single leg glute bridge 10 glute bridges together 10 alternating mountain climbers sliders 10 candlesticks to toe touches 10 heal taps 2x #wednesdayworkout #fitneas #humpdaymotivation #delawarefitness #personaltrainer

A common misconception with “losing weight” or “gaining strength” is that you just have to workout. WRONG!!!! You have you retrain your brain. You have to get your mind right so that success follows. I wasn’t seeing results I wanted because my mind wasn’t right so I refocused, retrained and reevaluated myself. Figured out what exactly I wanted to do and then put my head in the game. I reset my weights and started from bottom again Which is great to deload and restart. It allows your muscles to recover and keeps you healthy. You can see by my last set I was struggling to get through the last 5 but I did it. My girl and I had an early start today. Got some cyber learning down, went for a bike ride while I ran/walked. Also, my toe is still broken and hurt quite a bit half way in. Still managed to finish what we had planned. My daughter also made my workout for myself and her. We went straight down and then worked back up the list to get through it twice. She’s learning and watching ❤️❤️

Rainy day workout
Just a snip of today’s workout. It’s a rainy day so basement workout it is Happy hump day! 100 high knees/side 100 chest flies 100 stationary lunges per side 100 lying overhead extension 100 jump squats 50/side up up down down 100 hip thrusters 100 jumping jacks 100 crunches 50 roll outs Don’t mind our basement. We’ve been here 5 years and yet still haven’t gotten it finished or cleaned up.
