September is su***de awareness month, and one that hits close to home for Status Unknown. Today, we would like to celebrate the life of Brent Lutchmedial and pray in solace for all of those of us fighting depression and those of us who are dealing with losing a loved one to su***de.
We would like to dedicate this memoir to all the warriors out there to keep going: to remember that like this graphic, you are made up of the essence of the stars and whether you think so or not, you are the world to someone.
To those of you who are dealing with the loss, we here at Status Unknown want you to know to keep going. After Brent's death, his little sister took it into her own hands to help others deal with the pain and started RunningGoodVibes: a movement that keeps you going through fitness and healthy thoughts.
Tina, your strength is what this world needs. Keep spreading love and strength.

Today we are trying to help our founder who is currently battling for her life against an unknown disease. Dedicating her life to help others and improve systemically how the world views and treat those of us who are chronically ill, it is now our time to give her back the HOPE, she's determined to give us all.

Here at StatusUnknown our goal is to not only provide a platform for warriors to positively express themselves but to create a network of support for those of us battling with chronic ailments, mentally and physically. My name is Ashmini. I am 24 years old. I walked the stage, top of my class. I have had the privilege to work for 2 law firms and have worked my way up in a billion dollar company in a matter of months. I am also the proud founder of Statusunknown.org. I am a warrior. I battle with endometriosis, diabetes, heart issues, gastroparesis, and retinal issues which I am still trying to figure out. I've had my days of laying in bed feeling sorry for myself, but hope is such a powerful thing.
Status Unknown is on a mission to spread hope and positivity through the stories of courageous men and women who have refused to let their conditions dictate their lives. Follow the movement and share! You never know who needs it!
