September is suicide awareness month, and one that hits close to home for Status Unknown. Today, we would like to celebrate the life of Brent Lutchmedial and pray in solace for all of those of us fighting depression and those of us who are dealing with losing a loved one to suicide.
We would like to dedicate this memoir to all the warriors out there to keep going: to remember that like this graphic, you are made up of the essence of the stars and whether you think so or not, you are the world to someone.
To those of you who are dealing with the loss, we here at Status Unknown want you to know to keep going. After Brent's death, his little sister took it into her own hands to help others deal with the pain and started RunningGoodVibes: a movement that keeps you going through fitness and healthy thoughts.
Tina, your strength is what this world needs. Keep spreading love and strength.
