I bought all these cute pumpkins not to decorate with but to explode with some 45-70 from Precision ONe Ammunition out of my beloved Marlin model 1895 lever-action. Who wants to come join?

I got SO many questions about my IWI Galil set up with the two Holosun Optics and why I run two 1x dots, one primary and one offset. I decided to break down all of my competition rifles - AR-15, PCC, and AK - to explain the why behind the offset.

Well I accomplished what I set out to do. I’m the undefeated High Lady champion for both of Zoo City’s 3 Gun matches - Battle for the South and Fall Brawl. The ladies have been showing up and battling it out at these major matches, bringing some of the best shooters in the country out.
This past weekend’s match was super hard as my shotgun compensator broke 2 stages in and I was LUCKY to borrow .smeltz Gen12 shotgun to keep shooting the rest of the match with a compensator on a gun. Without him, I don’t know what I would’ve ended up using.
I also made a major error as I’ve been helping get my friend into 3 gun by bringing my backup rifle, different ammo that fits that gun better, and giving her all the data for long range targets. On my third stage of the match I forgot to switch over the kestrel to MY gun and essentially zeroed a stage for my skill set by being 1-2.5 MILS high on each target without knowing what was going on until after I shot and found I forgot to switch to MY gun’s data. That was a brutal hit I took and added to my already challenging mental match I was working through.
All of that to say, I showed up day two as best as I could and managed the High Lady overall and Ladies Open division win. ❤️

Meet Mav
I was lucky enough to be raised in a great family who supports our Second Amendment rights. From a very early age I learned to respect fi****ms and appreciate them for what they are – a tool. While growing up, I only hunted with shotguns and occasionally a rifle. It wasn’t until later in life that I got into competitive shooting. I’ve had a lot of help over the years and wouldn’t be here without friends, family, and mentorship from other shooters. My goal in life is to help others and teach them how to shoot fi****ms.
I’m so grateful every day that the Rifle Association at Florida State University (RAFSU) existed when I was finishing up my master’s degree. I was looking for a hobby, a group of like minded individuals, or some sort of club to get involved with. I ended up Googling FSU and fi****ms only to land on this organization’s page. At the time, the President of the club was a female so I couldn’t be more excited. I learned a lot for a short period of time as I only had 4 months until graduation when I could no longer be a part of it.
Once I joined RAFSU, a spot opened up on the pistol team and I made the cut. I got to compete on the 9mm squad immediately skipping out on shooting .22LR. I picked up, sorted, and cleaned A LOT of brass while on the team which I still do today. The club also owned a 650 reloading machine which was really incredible to learn so quickly. There’s nothing like team bonding late at night picking up brass by car headlights and reloading in time for a match.
