I was invited to join a zoom call workout today and it was so fun!!! . We did the sample workout of Sure Thing. (I made myself try to do front lunges: they are the devil!) 👿 . I wobbled and reset a lot. Then wound I’m doing back lunges instead. Making progress! lol . At the end of the workout, the trainer who created it (Megan Davies) hopped on to answer questions. She even got down on the floor to demonstrate a modification for us. She is awesome 💜 . I hope to do more of these in the future. Until then, I’ll be doing that chicken wing stretch from the cool down as often as possible. It feels sooooo good 🐓 😌

You know those times when you know it’s going to be a debacle, but you do it anyway? . I didn’t work out yesterday which is not like me. But I knew my daughter and I would be doing a lot of walking and my hip is still angry so I opted not to push it. . Still being pissy today so I did two Lower Body Stretch 5ers. One with Briana, one with Vytas, both with Lexi, Muffi and Bandit. . They wrestled, knocked me over more than once, it was… well what I expected haha . Tour de Pants Day 6 . Jared was like, “Hey! Here’s your butt!” and handed it to me 😂 . Great ride! . Muffi is learning that I can’t play if she doesn’t hand her toy to me. She is a smart pooch!

R2W1D2 of 645 Total Body . The pooches joined me for the warm up. . It felt good to do a lot of upper body as well as more legs. . I LOVE the stretching in this program. It helps with my mobility so much 💜 . I love how Amoila goes into the body mechanics of what we’re doing, the importance of preparing your body to workout, and taking the time beforehand. . It felt great! . Decided to do a second round of LIIFT More because I loved the first round so much 💪🏻 . I love how strong I feel when I love weights. This time I’ll be alternating this program with the bike and maybe another program too. . We’ll see how saucy I’m feeling 😂 . Added a “5er” with Jenny Jacobs after to work my arms. . There were a couple different curls. I really liked it! 💪🏻

Tour de Pants Day 3 magically appeared today so I excitedly knocked it out today. 🚲 . Jenny Jaucian’s dance parties make me smile 😃 while her workouts make me sweat 🥵

I missed JBYB on a Monday too so I did that also this morning. . I can see why my friend calls it “Just Barf Your Breakfast” but it really means “Just Bring Your Body” 😂 . Cardio is Hardio! But I can do hard things and I finished the workout with a happy dance. 💃🏻 . Even after burpees. Which I may have jumped during the first round because I missed the “walk them out” prompt. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Workout #2 . I miss Eric! So I did his Bicep 5er today 💪🏻 . My arms are screaming!!!!! I’m shocked that I am feeling like this after only 5 minutes! . He knows what he’s doing! 😊💙

Workout #1 . Day 1 of the “Tour de Pants”. 😆 . I was freezing when I got on the bike! 8 minutes in the hoodie came off 🥵 . I don’t have a pair of pants in mind to judge my progress, but I can see what I can find in the bottom of my drawer that may be lying there forgotten 👖 . I love Jared and Jenny! I may alternate the 15 days with other workouts, or double up. Either way I am going to complete the tour 😊

The last leg day of LIIFT More!!!! . Tomorrow is the last workout! Crazy! . I used my 50 again today for sumo squats and my 40 for a lot of other moves. . That definitely wasn’t possible the first week! Yay progress!!!! 🎉 . I love that right as I started to lean, Joel said, “Don’t lean!!!!” I felt like I got caught! Haha! . The trainers are just so good, they know what we’re up to without even seeing us! 💙💙💙

Workout #1 W8D2 Chest and Back . The 45 minute workout turned into an hour because of the pooches. Muffi came in with a dead vole. I had to chase her and get it to throw away (extra cardio!) . Lexi and Muffi were wrestling of course. . All good! My workout ended by hearing a surprise shout out for our deli on my favorite morning radio show (Preston and Steve)! . Thanks Joe for mentioning Ro-Lynn! ❤️

I finished More Legs which definitely worked my body. But I felt like my mind had pins and needles. I needed more sweat and more endorphins. . I finished out week 7 with Day 5: arms. . That was just what I needed 😊💪🏻 . W7D3 Shoulders. . I love shoulder day!!! . Especially no HIIT shoulder day 😆 . Love seeing the definition in my arms growing. 💪🏻 . Whether you call them 🪨, 🎃, or 🥑 having strong shoulders is more important than I realized. Not just because they look good, but to help with good posture and for lifting heavy things: weights, groceries, kids, dogs….

Workout #2 Cycle and Strength on BODi . When your trainer sees you need more resistance on the bike… . But your glutes aren’t firing because they’re so sore from yesterday’s ride… . So you point at your ass and say, “my butt hurts!” but it looks like you’re waving away a fart… 🤦🏻‍♀️ . Yeah… that happened 😂

Rainy, crappy day means pups are playing inside. 🌧 . After being outside and getting soaked of course 😂 . Started week 7 with legs and it was a doozy! . Lifted heavier on several moves. Ended with core and big, sloppy puppy kisses 🐶

Finishing week 6 with Arms. 💪🏻 . Different HIIT today. . I did try the bench toe taps the full way but my balance is poor so the modifier was a better choice 😊 . I felt super strong when I was lifting, even though I’m super tired today. . When your 44 minute workout takes almost and hour because you have to pause it every few minutes…. . I dunno what got into Lexi and Muffi this morning but they were both being giant hay holes. 😠 . When they were inside they were wrestling then barking to go out. When they were out they were barking to come in (upstairs. Couldn’t come back to the basement door, surely!) . Muffi ate a bee 🐝 . But I persevered and completed W6D4 More Legs. 🎉 . I even got the pups to join me for core. Ending my workout doing Abs with Labs always makes me smile 😊
