The weekend started off great, Kurt went a new personal best with a 4.95 @ 141 mph and good enough for #2 after Q2. We were all feeling pretty good and thought we had finally gotten a handle on things. Then the car started slowing down even for a reason we couldn't find. Unfortunately I think we figured out the cause when the pinion support decided it was time to exit stage front.

We will assess the damage, for now we know we need a new 3rd member, driveshaft and diagonal link. We're hoping the trans isn't hurt since it just came back from being freshened up.

And the track prep was on point! I lost my left shoe twice! I've been on some really good tracks but I've never lost a shoe before.

Car barely rocked back out the beams so mo time but the G meter looks really good...

Transbrake didn't hold, footbraking doesn't work real good. Out 1st round with a 5.40 @ 138. But we've made a lot of progress the last 2 races...

5.02 @ 138, good run for the conditions. Will make a couple of small changes and hopefully get Q4 in tonight.

Woo Hoo!!!4.98!!! Kurt ride it out, no pedaling and got in the 90s!

5.12 @ 138 mph. Would have been a little quicker if Kurt didn't have to pedal it, and best mph by 2.

Lost the tire at the hit, will get it ready for E1 tonight.

New personal bests with a 5.10 @136 mph!

Went 3 tenths quicker with a quick pedal but still #10. Adjustments upcoming...

Finally got to make a hit about 11PM last night but had the tuneup a little too spicy. Sitting 10th out of 14 cars. Made some adjustments, will see what today brings.

Lost in round 1, slowed 2 tenths. Liked the chassis changes at least. Really needed to test Wednesday and get all 4 qualify sessions to be ready but it is what it is, everyone had the same conditions. Car isn't hurt, we'll have an intercooler back.on for the next race. See you then...

5.323 @135.39 with a 1.370 60'. A little better than expected on a very safe A to B tune up. Making a chassis adjustment now. Will be ready for E1.

Getting warmed up...

Fastest pass yet, just not enough to get the win in Round 1, 5.29 to a 5.08. But for only the 4th pass on the combo it's been a good weekend. Will be back in a few weeks faster than this weekend.

Got a little too greedy and rattled the tires. Made some changes for Q3.

It lives... Generic start up tune.

Back to making chips...

A little cathedral port action, 2 1/2 hours start to finish.

Come and check us out at No Mercy 12! We are right behind the Holley tent. Kurt is on site and able to help with fuel injector flowing and cleaning or just explaining exactly what our service includes.
